Pumped Hydro and Solar Project Development Application

JBS&G was engaged by Rise Renewables to project manage the delivery of a Development Application for a proposed pumped hydro and solar project in South Australia’s mid-north region, 40 km north-east of Port Pirie. The Rise Renewables Project will combine a pumped hydro scheme with a commercial scale solar farm, delivering an overall low-carbon energy supply to the market, and a reliable energy source that will underpin a more secure South Australian power network.

JBS&G managed all necessary impact assessment studies and worked closely with Rise Renewables in government negotiations and provision of strategic advice. JBS&G provided a structured approach to strategy, planning and delivery of stakeholder and community engagement to ensure acceptance and support for the project.
