Pre Purchase Due Diligence

JBS&G has undertaken dozens of individual pre-purchase due diligence investigations for a large publicly listed Australian property developer since 2014.  The due diligence assessments have been undertaken on range of both greenfield and brownfield sites, ranging in size from 1000 m2 up to 100 hectares.  Former uses have included former industrial facilities, dry cleaners, service stations and racing facilities.  As part of the investigations, remediation cost estimates and methodologies including timing have been required to inform feasibility studies.  Innovative remediation methods have been devised to provide the client with commercial advantages during various tender processes, while ensuing risks are adequately accounted for in the transaction.
