Mine Portfolio Audits

JBS&G has provided BHP Billiton Iron Ore independent third party review or contaminated site auditor services in relation to a number of iron ore mining and processing facilities across WA, including Mount Whaleback, Nelson Point, Finucane Island and Boodarie Rail Depot. These audits have required the consideration of a range of contamination issues in the context of active mining operations and long term mine closure planning. The contamination issues requiring consideration have predominantly related to historical petroleum storage facilities, however, other contamination issues have also been of relevance (e.g. naturally occurring methane, former landfills, metals, emerging contaminants).
