Tonia Robinson

Tonia is a Principal with JBS&G, based in Hobart. She has over 25 years’ experience as an environmental consultant with extensive consultant experience in the management of environmental projects. Particular areas of professional expertise include environmental approvals, environmental impact assessment, environmental compliance, environmental management plan development and environmental monitoring. Tonia has worked on large and complex projects across many industrial sectors, including mining and renewable energy.

Tonia also spent six years with EPA Tasmania, where she undertook and co-ordinated the environmental impact assessment of major environmentally relevant activities, with her main area of focus being renewable energy (wind farms). Most projects involved bilateral assessments with the Commonwealth requiring extensive knowledge of both State and Commonwealth assessment processes and significant liaison with Commonwealth officers.
