Sylvia Rapo

Sylvia is a corporate communication leader and professional board director with more than 25 years of experience in her field where she has specialised in corporate communication, complex stakeholder management and media management. She has led communication functions for private, ASX and internationally listed companies in the oil and gas, energy infrastructure and defence sectors. She also has significant experience in government and media having worked in the public sector and as a journalist.

In her current role as Executive Director, Consentium – Corporate Affairs, Sylvia leads a national team of communication and ESG professionals to provide support to clients in a range of sectors including in mining, finance, property development and energy.

Sylvia current holds the position of director on the JBS&G board and is a member of the South Australian Government Communication Advisory Committee. She has previously held board positions with the Motor Accident Commission and the Australia Day Council (SA). Sylvia has completed leadership training at Harvard Business School and the company directors course offered by the AICD.
