Penelope King

Penelope is a Principal Environmental Consultant, Audit Assistant and EIANZ Certified Environmental Practitioner (Site Contamination Specialist) within JBS&G’s Perth based Contaminated Sites Management Team. She has more than 16 years’ experience in the contaminated sites assessment and remediation industry in Western Australia.

Penelope specialises in the negotiation and delivery of risk-based assessment and management strategies for large, complex contamination projects. Throughout her professional career, Penelope has been involved in a variety of projects from environmental due diligence to major assessment, remedial and validation works and human health risk assessment, as well as emergency environmental response. Her diverse range of clients include extractive industries, mining companies, ports and airports, property developers, global oil and gas ventures, manufacturing, construction, agricultural and farming, and local, state, and federal government agencies. Penelope also has extensive experience in contaminated sites auditing in WA, NSW, and ACT.
