James Blitz

James is a Principal and State Lead for the Assessments and Approvals team in JBS&G’s Perth office. With more than 30 years’ experience in land development, James has a Bachelor of Arts (Urban and Regional Studies) and a Graduate Diploma in Valuation.

James has worked at senior levels in Local Government within the land development space and as a town planning consultant for a leading national Architecture and Planning firm. He is passionate about sustainable urban design incorporating environmental outcomes that connect people and communities. Over his career to date, some of his flagship achievements include work on the iconic and sought-after Jindee development in Perth's northern coastal corridor, Kimberley community layout plans along with extensive government liaison to achieve desirable approval outcomes.  

James is a respectful and respected leader, known for his ability to untangle complexities to clear a path for his team and clients.
