David Lenel

David is a Principal Consultant, based in Hobart. David holds a Bachelor of Applied Biology (hons), with 20 years’ professional experience here in Australia, the UK and Mexico, with 15 years in Tasmanian environmental consulting.

David has a track record of successfully delivering large, complex, planning and environmental approvals projects in Tasmania, predominantly in the mining, energy and linear infrastructure sectors for local, State and Commonwealth statutory processes. David has played Approvals Lead or Project Manager roles in dozens of complex statutory environmental approvals projects while maintaining relationships and a professional network of regulators, utilities, industry representative bodies and technical consultants.

David is experienced in Project Management, and excels in working alongside clients to minimise project risk, achieving exceptional, cost-and-time efficient outcomes. He has a track record of building successful teams.
